all my custom content got deleted

hey, so I've recently updated my sims 4 and it was working completely fine but after getting an origin update all of my cc disappeared. at first I thought it maybe got disabled so I checked that and it wasn't. then I checked the actual mods folder and nothing was there. it all got deleted. I also couldn't find it In the recycling bin or anywhere else on my computer. is there any way I could get my cc back? I had a lot of it and I really don't want re-download everything. is anyone else having this problem?

Are your saves loading ok? Or have you also had to start a new game?

@Bluebellflora just realised that the iCloud Drive option was turned on 🤦🏻‍♀️ anyway, everything got uploaded on my icloud but thank you so so much!
