Which iMac Option is the best to play Sims 4?

★★★ Newbie

Hi Community,

I'm wanting to purchase a computer to get a better experience playing the Sims 4. I have played it over the past couple of years on a MacBook Air and to be quite honest... it wasn't much fun. I have finally saved up to purchase an iMac and I was curious to hear your thoughts on which one to get in order to get a seamless gaming experience.

What is your advice?  Thank you so much for your help!

Always go for the highest spec. graphics card you can afford and most powerful CPU. That would make the bottom one the safest bet, not only now but for a few years too.

I also would absolutely not get a Fusion Drive, upgrade to the SSD instead. You'd need to work out how much space you need so think about how much you use cloud services.

I would also upgrade the RAM from 8Gb to 16Gb for now but you can do that yourself, it's way too expensive to do on Apple's site.
