Game crashes when loading household, also origin problem

Did resetting the NVRAM not do anything?

@Bluebellflora Looks like updated fixed things, i've played for a little over an hr, opened it 3x without reseting nvram/reseting in general.

I would suggest everyone update their games and try to play.

Did you run the new game update what was released by EA in the last 24 hours?? 

I ran it today with excitement but unfortunately, as soon as I tried to visit the lot which was causing me issues, the game crashed... I have fully removed Origin from my Mac today and am now in the long and laborious task of downloading the game again... I may be able to play again tonight to test it - will revert back and let you know if that's the case. 

I wasn't hopeful but seeing this post has made me think it will be fine after this. Just too bad that I can't go back and try again. What settings is your game running in, graphics wise, out of interest?

Updating: I DID not realize I forgot to try Citi Living, yesterday when my game was working fine. It seems that CITY LIVING is the pack that is breaking my game, it just broke my game today again.

Yesterday and today, I played at Sulani no problems at all. It seems only when I do anything at San Myshuno that problems arise.

Hey guys 

Well, we have an improvement! I've been playing TS1 tonight while it downloads to haven't been able to spend any real time playing TS4... Quickly started up and checked it out - the house I was building over the weekend looks much better today than it did on Saturday! 

I'll spend some time playing tomorrow night and see how I go... The game did work fine for a few hours last Thursday, when I first got my new Mac, before breaking...

No, stand down... I just adjusted the camera and I see the same bottomless pit inside the main room of the house that was there over the weekend...
