@omanasim21 Same thing here.. Honestly I don't know if there is any help or ways to attempt fixing the game for who's having that problem and has repaired and reinstalled already. I wonder if we'll have to wait for a new patch or if there's still something we can do to at least make the game playable again.
Edit: I unnistalled the game again but this time I only reinstalled the base game and not the expansion packs. It's working just fine now (no crashing, extended loading, screens, etc) and it's actually playable even though it's a bit upsetting not having any expansion packs, maybe I'll add them one by one and see how it goes.

I just went into Origin>The Sims 4> Settings> Repair and it seemed to work for me and its a quick fix.
