Unable to update the game [ Edited ]

so there's this weird thing-so i'm on my mac and i'm on a mood to play the sims 4 because i have not played it in a while.but when i logged into my origin account the sims 4 needed to be updated so i tried to update it but everytime it kept  pausing and saying 'Please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location".and i did not know what they meant by so i was very frustrated,i uninstall origin and reinstalled it AND IT  KEPT DOING THE SAME THING-
