Unable to start Sims 4

So for the past few days I've been unable to start Sims 4 and it gives me with message saying

Unable to start:

Origin is currently not running. Please make sure that Origin is running before attempting to play The Sims™ 4

[d3382ced:984c6a38:00000001:00000000]

I did look it up and all I found was saying to redownload origin, which I did, and it still gives me that pop up, help??

Ok so I managed to fix it, for future reference all I had to do was get my Mac to the newest update (High Sierra or something like that), reinstall origin and clean out my CC folders!

I uninstalled Origin the complex way, since I have a mac I'm not ENTIRELY sure how to do the windows options but it still doesn't work
