The Sims 4 Legacy Edition thread

Hi,

i have a iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011) running High Sierra 10.13.6.

Do i still need to play the legacy game?

Because i'm having issues with no in game internet. 

And i really want to download lots and stuff from the comunity.

and how do i go online?

i used to get online without a problem.

but then all of the sudden it stopped working

You can't, there is no online access for the Legacy Edition (the 8th QA in the FAQ on page 1).

I have not even played my game. I got it about a month ago and downloaded it but never got the chance to play until this week. I have spent hours everyday trying to fix it starting Monday and I am still unable to play. What do I do?

Thanks. Your Mac doesn't quite meet the minimum requirements for the game, specifically the GPU. The game requires a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9600M, you have an integrated 9400. There is therefore no guarantee it will run.

Have you downloaded the Legacy Edition yet?

My Mac Version is 10.13.6 and my Mac's OS is High Sierra so I should be fine. Why cant I get on the game since the update???
