Unable to download Sim's 3

I purchased Sim's 3 however my computer freezes whenever it get's to 837 of the 889 download content. Then my computer freezes up. I have restarted the computer three times however it is still  not downloading properly.

Do you mean when you are downloading the game or installing the game? What Mac do you have?

I have a IMAC OS X Yosemite 21.5 inch, Mid 2010.

I had the problem when downloading the game because I was disturbed halfway through the original download. I managed to fix the problem by uninstalling origin and then downloading origin again. This solved the problem. 

If anyone else has this issue - look up how to uninstall origin. Follow the steps and then it should work for you. Cheers

You don't have to uninstall Origin, just delete the installer and redownload it. You can do this in Origin by clicking on Origin in the menu bar then Preferences > Advanced then click on Browse Game Installers. Delete the installer in that folder and download again. Sounds like you had a corrupted download.
