Trying to reinstall Sims 3 but its saying play even though it is uninstalled.

A few months ago I installed The Sims 3 from my mac to free up space for Sims 4. Since then I have decided to reinstall but instead of there being an install option on origin it instead says play. I have been through every forum on the topic and have done a manual uninstall. I have removed every file that mentions the Sims 3, have uninstalled the origin installer multiple times and restarted my computer yet it still says play!

Someone help me please!

Did you also trash all files containing Transgaming and Cider?
