Top third of the screen is black

Whenever I launch my sims 4 on Origin, it'll load normally. But then when it gets to the menu, the top third of the screen goes black. 

This has been happening every single time I try to play it for over a month now. I've reported it as a bug, and no one has helped me. Both the game and origin are up to date as well.

Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and drag the Options.ini file to the Trash. Now try launching your game - is it better?

You're welcome That file has your user graphics settings in it so by deleting it you're forcing the game to go back to the default settings.
