Expansion pack not showing up in game

@plague_boi7  You're running the Legacy Edition of Sims 4, which doesn't support any packs released after October 2019.  So even though you've downloaded the Star Wars pack, it won't show up in-game.

Am I able to run it on the normal sims 4 if I uninstall the legacy edition?

@plague_boi7  I actually need the part under About This Mac.  You'll see it if you click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen.  Do not include your serial number, but post everything else.

And please edit out the serial number in your previous post too, since that's personal information you don't want on the internet.

Unfortunately my computer is playing up at the moment and it won't let me access About This Mac, do you know any shortcuts?

@plague_boi7  That is the shortcut.  Try restarting your computer.

It has been an ongoing problem so restarting it doesn't help. I'm not sure how else to get you the information. I'm going to try uninstalling legacy edition.

@plague_boi7  If you really can't get into About This Mac, that's not a great sign.  However, I looked up your model number, and your Mac was made in 2010.  That means it doesn't support Metal, and therefore can't run the standard version of Sims 4.  You're unfortunately stuck with the Legacy Edition.

Since your computer can't run the Star Wars pack at all, you can request a refund from EA customer support.  Even though Sims 4 packs are generally not eligible for refunds, support usually makes an exception in cases like this.

I see some saves from last week only, but when I click to open it with Sims 4 the dialogue box saying to install legacy comes up again, even though it is installed!
