The Sims 3 Island Paradise won't install on Macbook Pro! [ Edited ]

Hi, i bought the sims 3 island paradise but unfortunately when i went to install the program on my macbook after all the on-screen instructions, on the last one where you fully install the game it would stop at a 30 out of 77 and freeze. So i stopped the installation and tried it again but it happened all over again and really don't know why, if you could help me find out this problem it would be a great help!

First of all, get rid of all files already installed for Island Paradise.

Are you downloading it from Origin? If so open Origin then go to Origin > Preferences > Advanced and click on Browse Game Installers. Delete the installer if it is there then redownload it.
