The Sims 3 64 Bit not Launching

Ah sorry, got sidetracked

Origin uninstalls games pretty well, it's nothing like the 32-bit non-Origin version which had to be uninstalled manually.

I really don't know why it's not working. I would reinstall the OS at this point. It wouldn't hurt although of course do a backup just in case. You can install over the top of your existing installation which should fix any corrupted or missing OS files, always a possibility, especially if you've ever run any "cleaner" apps in the past.

I tried to run the game through the terminal launcher thing within the sims 3 files

Do you have a Pihole set up on your network? Or maybe a 3rd party firewall of some kind? Something local to you is blocking the connection.

Not that I know of, and I don't know how that could happen. I've played on this computer before so idk

Any new ideas? sorry, I'd just like to play the sims 3 for its birthday lol

@Gagie123  I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to say.  I've also asked a couple other people who are now out of ideas as well.  From what we can see, it looks like the issue is on your end, but beyond that... I really have no idea what to suggest.
