Take forever to save

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.67.45.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It takes forever to save the game like half and hour still loading and I have to force quit the game which lose my progress.
What happens when the bug occurs? It just loading n loading it takes FOREVER.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to take 1 minutes to save
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Try closing every other application (except origin). Macs are really slow with Sims 4.
