I've had the sims 4 on my Mac for quite some time now and it has always worked perfectly. Recently I've been trying to play the game but the spinning rainbow circle of death won't go away. When you right click the sims bit says application not responding so I force quit. I've uninstalled my mods and cc but still am having the same issue. I've also restarted my computer and I just want to play my game, anyone know anything to fix this issue.

Move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop, repair the game in Origin then try to launch it - will it load?

Should I reinstall the folder after I repair the game

No, see if you can play a completely new clean game. The game will regenerate the Sims 4 folder.

@Bluebellflora

When I tried to load it I was met with the same issue I've been having.

After repairing too? Ok. Could you please create a new user account on your Mac and see if you can play a new game in that account. Let me know how you get on Standard smile
