Sims wont work because of mods

Hi, 

i downloaded some mods for the first time. I think i installed them right ( put doc in mod folder and thick the box of mods in setting in game, close game start back up) but now i cant do anything nomore (see picture). Anybody knows what to do?

i unclicked the box in game and restarted and now it works again. Can anybody tell me what i did wrong with the mods?

If the game works properly without Mods, the issue is with one or more of your Mods.

To test the CC/Mods, move out your Mods folder to the desktop and trash the localthumbcache.package file. Start the game to check it will load then quit without saving. Move your CC back in in batches, loading the game after each batch to see if it still works. When it stops working you know there is dodgy CC in that last batch. Move out that batch and test each piece one by one until your game stops working again. It's laborious but the only way to check all your CC.
