Sims won’t download/Install

I’ve had the Sims for quite a few years now and as soon as I bought seasons, I wasn’t able to download it into the game or buy any other packs. I uninstalled the Sims and reinstalled it but now I can’t download the Sims. Please help. This is driving me insane. I’m not kidding.

@beanybolla26  What OS do you currently have?  If you're running Yosemite, then you're one of a number of people who have had trouble with Origin in the past few weeks.  EA is aware of the problem and is working on a solution; you can check this thread for updates:

In the meantime, updating your OS to High Sierra usually solves the problem.  If your computer won't support HS, then El Capitan should be good enough.  You can search the app store for either OS.

If you're not running Yosemite, then try running the Origin reset tool for macs.

@beanybolla26, also before you update, move your entire Sims 4 to your Desktop or make sure you back up to either an external Hard drive or a USB thumb drive. This way your Saved games are safe.
