My game has been working just fine recently, until a few days ago I was editing a sim in CAS and my Mac cursor started going around in the little rainbow circle, I then closed the game without saving and tried it again and the same thing happened within a few minutes of gameplay. I haven't updated my Mac in a while but I'm not sure if that's that issue??

I have a MacBook Air (13 inch, 2017 model), my current version is the Mac Catalina (10.15.7), the processor is 1.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5. my memory right now is 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, and my graphics are Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB. I'm playing the normal version of the game, not the legacy version. I don't think I have an antivirus running right now, I have tried repairing and that didn't work, and my mods are updated I think, but I haven't removed them and saw what happens.

Okay so I did move the mods folder and deleted the localthumbcache, but it did crash again not letting me get into the game at all. I deleted all the last exception texts errors I've been getting but it seems I do that every time to make it work, is there anything I can do to not do that every time I log into the game?
