Sims crashing on macbook

★★ Novice

I just got a 13-inch mac book air 2020 and download origin, sims 4, and around 29 add on packs. The game ran perfectly for two days but then crashed. Now every time I open the game it plays for 5-30 minutes and then freezes leaving me to restart the whole comper. I've had a read around online and have tried many methods for similar issues like reinstalling origin, repairing the games, lowering the graphic quality, and removing the options.ini.copy folder from the sims 4 library. Anyone have any other suggestions to try?

@HannahT5265

See if updating to 11.2 in System Preferences > Software Update fixes it. If not, enable vertical sync in the in-game graphics options.
