Sims 4 won’t update

Specifications:

macOS High Sierra

ver 10.13.6

I’ve been going at this for a few weeks and I’m getting to my wits end. 

I’ve been trying to download the new patch for a while now, I’ve done all the software updates needed on my end and have granted permission to the app for all the security blocks I could think of. I’ve hard restarted the game and even created another account on my computer to push it through.

The game will not load past 85%, once it gets to that point it back loads to 79% and repeats itself. Can anyone help me?
