Sims 4 won't open

Downloaded Sims 4 with Origin onto my Mac in February, have been playing since until about a week ago when suddenly I could no longer open the app. Both the app and Origin are still on my computer but I cannot open the Sims app, and the Origin app says that the game is "only available on Windows".

Has anyone encountered a similar problem who can help me out?

And you definitely don't have an EA Play subscription? Because the screenshots indicate you do.

That isn't the issue, I've just checked. I'm now getting a new message when I try to open the app, which I've attached a screenshot of.

Where did you download Origin and TS4 from?

I downloaded Origin from their website (https://www.origin.com/aus/en-us/store/download) and then TS4 from the Origin app on my desktop.
