I have had my Sims 4 game for about two years now. I use to be a very active player but took a break due to school. Since the beginning of this year, I have tried to get back into it and it has been giving me many problems. Today, I finally had time to try and work on fixing it but I really can't figure it out. Someone please help me. I have a MacBook Pro if that helps.
Here's what's happening:
When I try to open the game, my MacBook sends me a message saying "the application 'Sims 4' cannot be opened"... but then continues to open up... only... the opening screen TRIES to come up. Instead, it's a black screen that comes up and stays black for a few seconds, then the whole game crashes. I have to "force quit" every time. It will never open no matter what I do.
Here's what I have already tried:
None of the things I tried above has helped at all. My computer is definitely up to date and I have no problems anywhere else besides Sims. Someone please help me
