Sims 4 won’t let me update it

I went to update my sims 4 game days ago and it won’t let me. Everytime I try I get a pop up saying ”we’re sorry. Origin was unable to download your game. Please check your internet connection,or try again later”. I have switched my. Internet connection 2, tried my personal hotspot, and restarted everything more then once.  Please help.

@JessicaShepker  What OS are you running?  If you have Yosemite, you're one of a number of people who've been unable to download through Origin over the past few weeks.  EA is aware of the situation and is releasing a beta version of Origin in the next couple of days that will hopefully fix the issue.  Alternatively, you could update to High Sierra, or El Capitan if your computer won't support HS.  You can check for updates in this thread:

If Yosemite is not your issue, perhaps running the Origin reset tool for macs will help:
