I have updated my game and the new patch is not loaded onto my game. There is no ladders, no fireman, no alt place doors. It hasn't given me the new patch when I updated the game. Help!

@dozmate Are you using the legacy edition of the game ? If so, then you won't get anything from this update

Yeah i am, that really sucks!! is there a reason why? My mac isn't that old, only 6 years

If your Mac doesn't have Metal (reason for the legacy), that is no longer supported by EA and the legacy needs to be used which was frozen at Patch 1.55

If you're running Legacy your Mac is either a 2011 or earlier model or running 10.10 Yosemite or earlier. Please can you provide more information about your Mac. my laptop is a 2014 and the software is OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

The new update for sims 4 won't work because i am running the legacy addition. I want to new update

Yes, and as I have explained above, you need to update your operating system to run the current version fo the game. You have to do this, EA can't do it for you.
