Sims 4 on Origin won't load

Hi,

I just downloaded the Sims 4 from Origin on my Mac (using El Capitan software - I think it's the most recent software update) and it won't launch the sims 4 at all? I've tried uninstalling both origin and the sims game and that hasn't worked. It shows up in the task bar but then dissapears immediately and nothing loads. It's been over 48 hours of frustration so any help would be appreciated!!

What Mac do you have? In the link that @EA_Nils posted is a post with instructions on how to find your Mac's specifications. Please can you look them up then reply back.
