Sims 4 not working

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? I can’t see it
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Sims 4
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know how? When my MacBook was updated I tried going to my sims and all I see is a white screen and hear the background music.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. I just want to play my game
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my sims 4 game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

When does this white screen come up? When you try to launch the game? At the menu screen?

When I'm trying to launch the game but I think it's more on the menu of the screen where it asked me to select my game? I'm sorry I don't remember what's it's called.
