Sims 4 keeps crashing

Every since i have downloaded The Sims 4 on my mac, it always crashes randomly when im playing the game. The crash report keeps coming up saying EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV). What does the mean and how do i stop it from crashing? Im running OS X EL Caption (10.11.4) I've noticed im not the only one having this problem on Mac.

Are you playing large lots and families? Are you getting the error at any specific times such as visiting community lots or when your Sims are doing something specific?

No im playing a one family household but it happens at random, i never know when its going to happen. The graphics get weird looking and so do the colors then it crashes.

Hey thanks. I think this actually worked. I played The Sims 4 all day after downloading this and hasen't had a crash since :D
