game crashing when trying to access gallery

@babygirlyg Darn. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to help from here since I'm still learning. There's definitely someone here who can help you though, so definitely don't give up hope!
(Feel free to move your save files back into your Sims 4 folder too, by the way. You might also want to grab your tray contents and put them in the new tray folder, too.)

@babygirlyg  It may help to delete and regenerate a specific Sims 4 file related to the Gallery.  Please see Bluebellflora's instructions here:

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.59.73.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? University, get famous, seasons, pets, get together, stranger ville parenthood, vampires, dine out, kids room stuff, spooky stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By opening the gallery
What happens when the bug occurs? The my computer freezes, then the sims 4 crashes after trying to access gallery
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the galley
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

@jilllevenberg Moving this to the mac forum for troubleshooting. Thought this was fixed in the last patch but maybe it's still happening.

What is the date modified in Finder of the newly generated EAWebKit.so file that appears after repairing the game then relaunching it?

I just received an old Mac book Pro and downloaded Sims 4. The game seems to be running fine except every time I go to open the Gallery the game crashes and boots me out. I do not have any CC or Mods downloaded. 

Specs:

MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012)

Processor: 1.8 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Currently running OS High Sienna but finishing encrypting to download Catalina. (IDK if this maybe why)
