Sims 4 game still crashing after crash fix update (Mac)

I have updated my Sims 4 game for the crash fix and it still crashes even after I fully restarted Origin, even repaired Sims 4 more than five times, turned the volume off, cleared the cache, and even removed my mods as I thought that was the issue but to my surprise, it still crashes when it loads is there any fix? ( I play on Mac )

IS there a lastCrash file in the Sims 4 folder from when it last crashed? Please attach to a post here if you have one. You will need to open in TextEdit first and remove the XML from the first line.

Hello, yes I do have a last crash exception! (sorry the first one was a mistake I've now deleted the XML on this one!)

Thanks. Can you please move your Mods folder to the desktop, trash the localthumbcache.package file in the Sims 4 folder and see if it now works. Your game is still showing as having Mods/CC being used.

Okay I moved the mods folder to the desktop and deleted the localthumbcache but it still crashes on the loading screen.

Have you moved the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and tried a new clean game?

Hello! I turned my wifi off and then turned it back on in the middle of loading my game and it worked, but thank you for helping me!
