Sims 4 failing to open on Mac

Hi, this is my first time using this forum, so I apologize if I post this to the wrong section. I swear I've tried everything I could think of and I can't get the game to open! I recently updated my game, and since then every time I go open the game, it will show me the loading screen and then crash. I took out all my script mods and it still won't open. I also deleted the local cache, tried repairing the game, deleted my saves from the saves folder, and re-downloaded Origin all together. I played last week, so I know that my Mac is compatible with the game. If anybody could send me any other ideas to try, I'd really appreciate it!

Move out the entire Sims 4 folder and see if you can start a new, clean game.

So that worked once. Then the next time I went to open the game it failed again.

Did you move any of your files and folders from the folder you moved into the new one that was created?

I first tried to put my save back in but that didn’t work so I took it out so it was completely fresh

Ok. Could you please repeat the process, this time NOT moving any of your saves/tray/mods,anything, from your old folder into the new one.
