Sims 4 crashing on Mac

I tried this (it didn't work unfortunately) and even deleted everything, reinstalling origin and sims 4 completely. I don't have any mods and I didn't have this problem until the last origin update of 2017. any suggestions?  I have some dlc packs would that effect it?

A new update to Origin was just released, 10.5.12. Are you still having the issue after updating?

unfortunately yes I still have the problem, the window for sims 4 opens for a split second and then crashes :c

Finally got it to work! I just had to disable origin in game. don't know why that was affecting it so majorly but whatever I can play again! :D

I do have some cc on mine. I had a little just a couple of things and I added about 5 more and it won't open. I didn't think it was a problem. I honestly think that it is Apple computers and how sucky they are because I had no problem on my EP Laptop.

Is the extra CC you've just added compatible with the current patch level of the game?
