Okay what if your game only crashes when you try to download something from the gallery. It's not a storage problem or mods folder problem. It just won't let me download any player made lots from the gallery. I don't understand cause everything was working fine until I got the outdoor retreat pack.

Drag your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts onto your desktop then launch your game again. It will be like new again with no saves, CC etc. Start a new game then try downloading from the gallery - does it still crash?

I followed all the steps for origin and moved my folder from documents, erased the options file, etc. My problem is my computer crashes in origin. I Can't even press play for the sims 4. When I open origin a few seconds later my computer shuts off and restarts. I don't know what to do please help.

I didn't have the problem in the past I've been playing since 2015. It would crash after hours of playing but not crashing just by starting up origin

Please run the Origin reset tool then try again.

I did this and it worked. But now I updated the sims and it's happening all over again. I open origin and my compute crashes before I can even press play on the sims 4.

Yeah it kept crashing. I deleted some plugins from my library recommended by others going through the same thing and that worked. Thanks again
