Every time I try to launch, it plays the opening graphic, but then pauses before the green gem begins to spin. I've tried everything. Here's the report from the latest crash.

I just started getting this crash today - and I swear I was just playing yesterday and it worked fine! Even with mods!
Now, I've removed the mods folder, restarted Origin, then repaired the game in Origin, but it still just crashes during the initial loading screen.
I'm on a Macbook Pro Retina 13-inch Early 2015
Graphics is Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
Currently running Monterey 12.6
Mac's crash report:

Edit to note: Just realized repairing the game doesn't delete the cache. Deleted the cache. Still crashes. :-(

Not sure what cache you're referring to. Follow these steps to launch a new clean game - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting...

(Which cache file: The thumbnail cache - the one that you need to delete if a mod screws things up and then they stayed screwed up after removing the mod.)
But yes, thank you, moving the entire Sims 4 folder onto my desktop worked. I've been able to replace all my saves and the tray and the crash has not repeated. I've put some mods back in so far, but not all - going slow trying to figure out if any of them caused the crash. But it's odd though, since they were running fine and had no errors the day before; then after adding nothing and updating nothing suddenly it wouldn't open. If I can't find a mod that caused the game to stop opening... then I guess just bad luck and fingers crossed it doesn't happen again?
