Sims 4 crash June 2020- Origin [ Edited ]

I'm running the game on a Macbook air 2018 and after I updated the sims 4 on June 3rd, 2020 I haven't been able to do anything except build and create sims, I cannot open the gallery or click on whims at the bottom of the screen, the bottom of the screen isn't even there. I also cannot click on anything once I have pressed play at the start of the game, I am unable to click on the options menu, gallery, my sims, bladder food, etc is inaccessible and I haven't seen anyone with this problem. Please help!
