Sims 4 Spa Day Download Fail Mac

I bought Spa Day game pack and it won't let me download it into my sims 4 game. I have tried restarting both my mac and origin but i cant seem to download this game pack.

What exactly happens and when? Is the download button clickable? Does it start downloading then stop?

Thank you for answering! I can click the download button but 9/10 times it gets stuck with the word "preparing" where the word "download" was. Rarely does it go through and start downloading but when it does, it just stops at 99%.

Please run the Origin reset tool then try again.
