Thank you for this! I've had a flickering problem ever since Apple dropped support for 32 bit apps (seems it's not associated to that but it's when it started), and a reset of game settings and checking off vertical sync seemed to work. So thank you !!

@pihlavanonen What fixed this for me was to go graphics settings and check “vertical sync”

@pihlavanonen For me restoring to default settings and and going windowed full screen worked. It suddenly couldnt handle to full screen and high settings ive played on forever wuth no issues.
