I've been running Sims 4 on my Macbook Pro 2015 for years, but it just recently stopped working. I'm able to start it up, but the display glitches/flickers and it's hard to play. It'll calm down eventually, but everytime I hover over a button, it flickers again. Everything is updated (both my Mac and the Sims), so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't have any mods or CC either, and my Mac also supports metal. I also play my game on pretty low resolutions/settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting really bored during quarantine!!

Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...
If you play in windowed mode does it happen across the whole screen or just in the game screen?

Hi!
Here's some more information about my Mac.
macOS Catalina (10.15.4)
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, mid 2015)
2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core I7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1546 MB
I’m just trying to play the normal version of the game, I haven’t downloaded Legacy.
I don’t believe I have any anti-virus installed.
Yes, I’ve repaired the game.
Nope, no mods or CC.
I just checked and it seems to be fine when I play in windowed mode. However when I'm in fullscreen, it flickers everywhere at first, and then only around places I hover.
