Sims 4 Not Starting Up on MacOS High Sierra

Hi,

Currently I use a MacBook Air (Early 2015 model) and recently downloaded MacOS High Sierra.

Prior to this my game ran smoothly even with mods and custom content. Ever since upgrading, first, I found CAS is not working as smoothly as it did before, however now the game won't load at all. I either click to open the game through origin or from the launchpad and all that comes up is a black screen for a few seconds then it goes back my my desktop background and says "application not responding".

I have already tried taking all my cc and mods out but I still have the same issue. I have also deleted a lot of it to free up space!

If anyone could help I would very much appreciate it, thank you!

Please move your whole Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop then try loading the game again.

Also make sure you disable Origin in-game.

You're going to need to be more specific with your issue please. Could you please also state which Mac you have?
