Sims 4 Not Installing On Mac

I have been playing the Sims 4 ever since the day it came out on my windows laptop and now I have recently gotten a Macbook Pro and I want to install Sims 4 on it but it won't even take the disk. I have both disk 1 and 2 and the serial code but I tried to redeem it and obviously it has already been redeemed (on my windows laptop with the same origin account). And I can't find Sims 4 in "My Games" either. Please help.

The disc version of the game is PC only. You don't need to redeem the code as you already have the game registered to your Origin account. Make sure you have All Games and All Platforms selected in your Games Library in Origin:

You should see the base game. Click on it and then download.
