Hi there so I'm not really good/familiar with forums and threads but I will try my best. If anyone could help me it would be MUCH appreciated. So im having issues starting up Sims 4 on my Mac, I know they are notorious for having issues like these but I cannot figure out what is making it not work like this. When I try and run/play the game it'll load the first 10 seconds and then immediately crash and kick me out giving me an error message giving me the "problem report" and also asking if I want to reopen the game. I play with mods and I'm 99.9% that its one of the Script mods causing issues. I tried taking them all out and it still gave me the same issue/crashing problem. I also tried to see if it was my save files acting up so I took them out and there was no issue. THEN LASTLY I then tried using the technique where you make a new EA game file/sims game and it did work until I changed the game options to enable script mods. And now its doing the same issue again where I cannot even load into the game to change options. Can anyone help me please its super frustrating x.x

Just tried and no luck unfortunately /:
Its the weirdest thing-cause even with my mods folder removed it crashes. The only time it did start up again was when I took my Sims 4 file out of my EA folder and it basically created a new Sims 4 file/Game. Then it started no problem. I did slowly move my mods and my save files over to the new Sims 4 file but then I had issues when I enabled script mods /////:
