Sims 4 (Mac) - Screen Glitching/Flickering

Dear Sims community and AnswersHQ,

I have had this problem for months now and the EA Support team is of no help, so this is my last hope and I really hope someone can help me solve this issue. Whenever I am in Create A Sim, Build & Buy or in Gameplay and I use my mouse, either internal or external, my screen flickers/glitches when I select something, which makes the game almost unplayable. Thank you so much in advance if you are able to help me with this issue so I can start playing again.
