Sims 4- I can't bring up the cheat window/console

Sooo I have a mac and I'm having the screenshot issue but I have nothing running in task manager other than origin and finder (which only gives me the option to relaunch) I do I fix the task bar not coming up my keyboard works for everything else and works on sims3

Are you playing in Boot Camp? macOS doesn't have task manager, the equivalent is Activity Monitor and it should show a lot of processes running, not just Origin and Finder.
