Sims 4 Game Won't Play [ Edited ]

I have a Macbook Air that I regularly play on however last time I played my Sim just returned early from Selvador and when returning home the game all of a sudden went to Manage Worlds and said that the game failed to load and I needed to relaunch? I just quit playing and went to bed. Today I tried relaunching 4 times and still the same message- even when trying to play different households. I disabled my mods and still the exact same message. I have tried other saved games and those all work - it's just this one- the only one I want to play haha

Please help

The first time it started it was also the same day I wasn't able to even launch origin and had to turn my laptop on safe mode then back off in order for it to finally work- could this be related?? Hope this information helps a little bit!

I reloaded an older save and it worked !
