Sims 4 Dock on mac

Is there any way to stop the dock from popping up on the bottom and top of the screen when in fullscreen mode on mac? Its been an issue for a while now and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it yet? Its very hard to play fullscreen mode when it keeps happening..

No, EA haven't taken into account the macOS full screen settings when the game is in full screen mode. It's listed as a bug in the Sims 4 stickied help thread and has been there ever since the game was launched for Mac
