Sims 4 DLC refund for Legacy Edition

I downloaded Discover University yesterday completely unaware its not compatible with the Legacy Version.

EA's policy say DLC's are not refundable. Can I swap expansion packs then? There was nothing I could see that would warn me about Legacy and expansion packs - I just assumed all of them works???

It's always super important to read the system requirements before purchasing a game. DU states that a Metal required Mac is required, Legacy Edition is for those whose Mac are not Metal compatible.
