Sims 4 Crashing 2019 MacBook Air 13inch

★★ Novice

Started playing again in October 2020. Did all updates, reinstalled mods with updates. Repaired game but still seeing a crash issue as soon as I start to play a family/household. Disabled mods and still no luck.

Reading threads on here it sounds like a might be a graphics card/hardware issue?

If someone can point me in the right direction for remedies or provide an update is this a larger issue. Would be greatly appreciated.

So far so good. Seems to be working just fine.

@Wheater24

Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...

The graphics issues at the moment mostly affect users with specific AMD GPUs. Your MacBook Air has integrated Intel graphics. Could you also attach your Config.log file so we can check it's supported?

@Wheater24

Thanks. Have you tried with a new clean Sims 4 folder? Move your current one from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop then launch the game, start a new game and see if it still happens.

I'm happy to test your current save if you upload it to a file sharing site such as google drive and PM me the link. If you could upload a lasCrash report too that would be great Standard smile

@Wheater24

Maybe it was a borked save. You could put one of your old saves back into the new folder and see if that was the issue.
