Sims 3 on mac won't run

So I deleted and reinstalled Sims3,
installed my Sims3 expansions packs and was notified that "The Sims 3" version installed is incompatible??? with all 3 of my expansion packs but i went ahead to install them anyways.

And now, none of them will run with message saying "Unknown Error Occured"

Somebody help me please, because the live chat thing has been dead for me since last night

The incompatible error message is because your game is most probably at a higher patch level to the one the pack is expecting, not a problem.
