Sims 3 Unknown Error Occurred HELP! (MAC)

Hi,

So I recently un-installed Sims 3 and re-installed it, but now whenever I try to launch the game I get a 'unknown error occurred', I trouble shooted, deleted all my Sims finals, re-installed everything like 5 times and I am still getting that pop-up. I talked to an advisor like 13 times and they all said the same thing, and nothing helped. What do I do now?!?! I'm getting so frustrated.

@saarikaaa Not really a mac person. You should try the Sims Mac forum. You'll probably get better (and faster) help for your mac there.

When you uninstalled did you go into the hidden Library folder and delete all the residual files the Uninstaller leaves behind? 

Are you playing the game using the disc or Origin download?

If you use CC/Mods have you tried launching the game without them?

What Mac do you have?
