Sims 3 UKNOWN ERROR

I downloaded/bough the sims 3 start pack from origin yesterday, when I was going to play it today and it didn´t work, I just got up this message ´there occurred an uknown error´. (I have a macbook) what do I do now, why can´t I play the game? thanks.
