Sims 3: Launcher won't connect to account!

I can log in on EA and the sims 3 store but when I try to log in on the launcher nothing! I've tried changing my password twice, I've used the repair function through origin (which I can also log in to) just the actual game won't log in which is driving me crazy when I have new content to install. Anyone else experienced this and have any fixes? and of course there never seems to be any ea staff available to help.

@smythesbooms  You don't need to sign into the launcher to install new content, or at least you shouldn't.  If you download from the store and open the launcher before clicking the Download button, everything should work.

 

If that doesn't help, have you tried changing your password to something with only letters and numbers?  The launcher often rejects passwords with symbols in them.  After changing a password, it's also a good idea to clear Safari's cache.  Please also open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and delete the file labeled [your email].bin.
